Erin Young and Michael Woodfin got married last Saturday, and had one of the most beautiful receptions I’ve ever seen! I can’t wait to drop their wedding on the blog, but for now, the pics from the memoryBOOTH will have to do!

Just so you know, if you’re wanting these as a Facebook profile pic, the album is RIGHT HERE! I do ask, though, that if you make the picture your profile picture, please dont crop it! Simple as that!

If you want to order any prints or digital copies of high-res images, click here and the password is texanbooth to see them!

So here it is, a memoryBOOTH straight out of Marshall, Texas!

Here’s the story on this next one. Dad gave the guy in the striped shirt a wet willy….who, in reaction, jerked his head away…….straight into the lady in green’s face.

This was a special wedding for me. Jeff has been one of my best friends since Baptist Heritage my sophomore year. Luckily, he tolerated me pretty well. More on Jeff+Emily later, but a lot of these people in the pics below have become my family. It’s definitely going to be weird moving into school with only a few of them coming back with me. Hopefully, you enjoy these pics as much as I enjoyed taking them.

Here’s a couple things for those of you in the pics! The Facebook albums will be up early next week. By the time this posts, I’ll be in Mountain Home for the Leadership Summit, then off EEEAAARRRLLY Friday morning to Erin Young’s wedding in Marshall, TX!

If you’d like a print or a digital copy, feel free to check it out here! The password is harmonBOOTH just like that!

While you’re at it, check out more memoryBOOTH blog posts, and if you want one for your next party, wedding, reception, or event, feel free to use the contact form and let me know!

But, here’s a few of my favorites from Saturday’s Arkadelphia Wedding.

So yea…OBU rules.

A rare appearance by yours truly…

I may or may not have ordered a 10×20 canvas float wrap (canvas print mounted on a 1.5″ thick board to give it depth from the wall) of this bad boy right here….

What a crazy fun day! Connor and Kate’s wedding pics will be on the blog soon enough, but I thought everyone would like to see the memoryBOOTH pics from last Saturday! The reception was in the Arkansas Ballroom of the Peabody Hotel – Little Rock. The reception was great, the food was awesome, and the people were incredible. memoryBOOTHs are always some of the highlights of receptions for me. It’s so much fun to get to interact so much with people and be high energy the whole time.

Often, the couples will come up with something pretty clever to have as unique props in their memoryBOOTHs. Sometimes this is a big hat or costume, other times I’ve had people bring a mini-chalkboard, things like that. Kate decided to do these really awesome mustaches-on-a-stick that she found online. Then, she took it a step further and made some glasses to go with them! As you can see from the pictures, they were a huge hit.

If you were a wedding guest and see your picture in these or in the slideshow, know that you can also click here and enter the password mcnabbMB and order pictures and/or digital files! If you just want it for your profile pic, check out the albums on Facebook: Part 1 and Part 2 and tag away.

I offer memoryBOOTHs as add-on’s to most wedding packages, but they’re also available by themselves. If you’re interested, shoot me an email and we’ll chat!

Here are some of the pics, but if you want to see more, be sure to click the link at the bottom!

Clever…..

He was in the middle of telling his brother, the groom, that he was fired.

Am I the only one that thinks of Arrested Development when I see this?

And as promised, here’s the link to the full slideshow!

Forrest City, what can I say?! First things first, I’ve never seen more police cruisers sitting in speed trap position without an officer inside since I lived in Memphis. Well played, officers of Forrest City….well played. Secondly, Forrest City knows how to rock the memoryBOOTH. I dont know how many people were at the reception, but it was so cool! What a great venue for something like that. And, as you will see when you look through the photos below, the people were crazy and definitely ready to have some fun! Hopefully this wont be the last memoryBOOTH this crowd sees!

Here’s some of the pics! At some point next week, I’ll have a FB album up online. It’ll be hosted by my personal account, because for whatever reason Facebook doesn’t allow fans to tag pics on my fan page, so instead I put the booth pics up on my personal FB page. Then, you’ll be able to tag away and add them as a profile pic if you wish! Be looking later next week for a blog post to find out how to order any of them you’d like to! And if you’d like, you can go on to the client proofing part of my website and type in the password fcBOOTH to see more of the images and order your own copies!

Without further adieu, I give a selection of memoryBOOTH pics from Brian and Mallory’s wedding!

The catcher of the garter.

and here’s Josh the videographer!

these girls may have taken 231 pictures….and this was their all time favorite pose.

….your helpful reminder…

so…they did a smiling pose, and I said do something crazy…they both did…well…this….

and then they realized what almost just happened.

memoryBOOTHs are a great setup for any party, wedding, reception, or anything else. Feel free to contact me if you’re interested in booking one for your event!

Like I mentioned in this post on Sunday night (aka early monday morning), Sunday night was the Fellowship Student Ministries’ Senior Dessert Banquet! During the course of the night, we see pictures of a lot of the seniors from beginning to now, award an “educational grant,” and the seniors are able to hear some words of encouragement from one of the church’s teaching pastors, Tim Lundy. It’s a neat time to honor not only the students, but the parents guardians that have been there every step of the way.

On that note, I wanted to give everyone the playlist I used as some of the seniors’ pictures played!

1. Everything’s Changing – The Running Back
2. God Gave Me You – Dave Barnes Dave Barnes - What We Want, What We Get - God Gave Me You
3. Hard to Believe – Andy Davis Andy Davis - New History - Hard to Believe
4. Never Be Ready – Mat Kearney Mat Kearney - City of Black & White (Deluxe Version) - Never Be Ready
5. Happy – The Daylights The Daylights - Shift and Blur EP - Happy

This year, I brought along a little memoryBOOTH magic! Setting it up in the area was a trick and a half, but we managed to make it work!

BEFORE we get to the pictures, here’s some MUCHO IMPORTANT information particularly for those who were there and had their picture taken! Remember how I told you to grab one of those cards? Well here’s why! To show how proud we are of your accomplishments, FSM was able to give you one of the Zondervan Bible Handbooks, but the FSM staff also like to give you a 5×7 of your choice from the booth! To get your pics, go to the Memory Box Photos portfolio site, click on the clients tab, and type “senior2010″ in the password dialog box. This will open up the gallery of the booth pics. Simply click the shopping cart icon in the top left corner of the picture you want. You’re more than welcome to order however many you would like, but the code on the back of that business card is the code for the coupon will get you one free 5×7! Be sure you enter your shipping information! Near the end of checkout, you will be prompted for your discount or coupon code. That’s what is on the back of the card, and why I said it was so important that you take and keep one! ALSO! Please note, the images you receive when you order prints will NOT have the white frame or memory box photos text at the bottom! If you have any questions, be sure you email me (Austin) rather than the FSM offices. They’re not “in the know” on how this stuff works. They just said, “Austin, here’s what we want to do!” and I said, “Let’s make it happen!”

Also, there’s a FB album with these images too, so that you can tag them and profile pic them. ALL I ASK is that you dont crop out the memory box photos!

For anyone else that might want to see the pictures, there’s a selection below, OR you can watch the slideshow at this link.

BUT, now that that has been taken care of, here’s a handful of my favorites from a really special night!

this one may be my favorite, just because of all the expressions….

If YOU are interested in having a memoryBOOTH at any of your next parties, office get togethers, banquets, wedding receptions, or any other event, let me know!!!

Today at Fellowship Bible Church was Senior Sunday! This group of seniors I have LOVED getting to know over the past two years. It’s kind of weird to think that I met them after their sophomore year in high school, for the most part. All of them are off to do great things, but I’m really excited that a good group of them are headed to Arkadelphia for OBU in August! It’s been a pleasure to serve these students the past few years!

At the end of the service this morning, we had all of the seniors to the front of the Worship Center. There had to be 60 or 70 total. Their parents came down and we spent a few minutes in prayer, allowing the parents to pray for their kids, and for the body to pray over the families as they enter the next season in life. It was definitely a moving time, to say the least.

Later on, we had the seniors and their parents come to a dessert we put on each year. It’s always a really neat time, but this year the FSM staff decided a memoryBOOTH would be an awesome icing to add to the Senior Dessert Cake, if you will! Wednesday, I’ll post some of the booth images, but for now, just know it was fun!

Class of 2010, you rule.

Also, check out Aaron Williams’ blog post on FSM’s Senior Sunday!

On a more “business” side of things, if you will, I’ve gotten emails about the lack of RSS-friendliness of the blog. I’m looking in to what needs to be done about that. Needless to say, soon there will be changes. This may mean a totally different blog layout, or just some optimization. Still not sure, but I know there’s a problem, and I know it needs to be fixed!

WinterChill for Fellowship Bible Church was this weekend at Shepherd of the Ozarks. I dont know how well any of you know me, but I’ve worked with FSM (Fellowship Student Ministries) for a while. My freshman year of college, I started thinking about what I wanted to do for the summer. In November, I called my friend Paul Stevens, who at the time was campus pastor for Fellowship Benton. He informed me that FSM in Little Rock had gotten a new youth pastor, and he may be interested in an intern. So I called Brandon Barnard, who just started working for FBC. He didn’t answer. So I called him the next week. No answer, so I emailed him that day, no answer. SO…I went up there with my friend Aaron Williams. We talked and he seemed interested to an extent. A few weeks later, I called. No reply. This went on for literally (and embarrassingly) months. Finally, a new guy, Tim Caldwell, started working for the junior high, and one of his first jobs was to finally call “that kid” back.

LONGER story short, I was hired. Whether out of sheer nussance, or merit, i was hired. The original deal was for it to last through August 2008. Well….I’m still here. Still kickin’ till they tell me to quit showing up.

Over the weekend, we took our Senior High on the yearly retreat. Our speaker was Dave Edwards, the band was Solace Found, and Drew Worsham is an illusionist that came. I took the opportunity to bring some of my gear, and had a BLAST! Soon enough, we’ll have a too-legit-to-quit coffee table book around the offices. Here’s my top 10 favorite shots from the memoryBOOTH.

10. Youth Group Rule: You can’t dance in line for lunch and then turn down a photo request.

9. Bobby has been one of the amazing adult volunteers around FSM in the past. He’s recently started working as a youth minister in Camden, AR…AND falling in pictures.

8. If you’ve been around FSM long enough, you know the staff kids. Hudson is a tiny ball of crazy huge energy, as he runs through a shot while Momma’s trying to get a family picture together.

7. Landon’s arm is the one you see in the photo. His direct quote after the shot, “Dude…you were supposed to hit my arm and fall to the ground. Let’s try again, I’ll put some force in it.” We didn’t try again.

6. More staff kids. Ready to fight…and to tease you….and again, to fight.

5. Guys saying “Lets make fun of their jump picture” turned into a near black eye. Worth it.

4. Wes is one of the more reserved out of my closest group of friends. But the second he realized taking pictures like this had limitless possibilities, he lit up like a Christmas tree.

3. FSM Staff pic! I seriously couldn’t hand pick a better group. I love our staff.

2. Aaron and Mallory had rice krispies…..and used them with deadly force.

1. Any time two high school guys say, “Hey man…lets get a running start and kick each other,” find yourself a camera.

Those are the top 10, here’s a link to the FB album with the rest of them. Check it out!!! [[link]]

I’ve been waiting to be able to post this for quite some time. I have a new product with wedding packages, and some of my 2010 brides have already booked it for their wedding this year! This is a GREAT addition to make your reception something to remember, for you AND your guests! When you reserve a memoryBOOTH with your wedding package, included is a memoryBOOTHbook, a book of your guests that got their crazy, fun, goofy pictures taken at your reception!

If you have any questions or curiosities about the memoryBOOTH or would like package listings for your wedding, feel free to use the contact link!

For this memoryBOOTH, I just wanted to test the setup. I have an event booked soon (I can’t reveal on the blog just yet, because it’s a surprise for the attendees) and wanted to have some fun with my new toys. A hand full of my friends showed up to have their zany pictures taken, and it was a continuous hour of solid fun! Here are a handful of the results, some of my personal fav’s.

Look out. This guy’s crazy.

It was an extremely successful day, pictures aside. Why? I was able to teach THREE people how to do back-button focusing (which also let me be in a pic or two)! Props to the students.

But on a couple of them, I held the camera myself. VERY nerve racking when you’re holding your camera, a battery grip, and a 24-70 f/2.8 at arm’s reach, trying to do back button focusing and shutter control! YIKES, but a couple turned out well enough!

She might be a little upset at me for posting this one.

Yes, I drink Diet Coke. Yes, a lot of it ended up on my face about 1/200th of a second after this shot. Yes, I managed to keep any of it off of the background.

Every just have one of those weeks?

This one I just had too much fun with to not post.
