This happened Saturday. More to come.

At this very moment, I’m working a memoryBOOTH at Mallory and Brian Pagan’s wedding! I’ve really enjoyed getting to walk through the entire process with these two. They went out on a limb and took a risk, and I believe (and I’d go ahead and say they do as well) that it paid off! Some of you may remember the two from their engagement session in Jonesboro a while back! Mallory brought her mom and friend Betsy to our Spring Break bridal shoot. She wanted to get them done at Burns Park, so to Burns Park we went…in the -12509 degree “spring” weather. Mallory was awesome, toughing it out in her gorgeous wedding dress. Look for a teaser of their wedding later this week, but first, check out a little sampling of her bridal pictures below.

Juliana and Calvin both go to Ouachita Baptist University and live in Little Rock. It’s been a while since they decided to book me to shoot their Little Rock wedding, and a while since we went out and took engagement pictures for round one. Round two was a few weeks later, both of which gave some killer pics. Their wedding is in October at Rock Creek and promises to be a super fun day. Until then, here’s a mega-post of a handful of their engagement pics.

The Curbow family and I have gone back for quite some time. If you were to ask a member of the Curbow family about me, they would probably reply with some form or fashion of “Clumsy.” For better or worse, I’ve always managed to trip, spill, break, or mess up plenty of things, but they still love me. Whether they like it or not. Ha Ha, BUT, the Curbows are an incredible family that I’ve been honored to know for quite some time.

A few months back, someone told me I should shoot Kristy’s wedding, and that same day, another Mississippi friend mentioned that they knew a guy named Josh whose wedding I should shoot. As it would turn out, both the suggestions were for the same wedding! Josh and Kristy were in town this weekend to hang out with Brandon Barnard and his family, and were able to work in some time for an engagement session. I’m so excited for their wedding in Mississippi in August! But until then, here’s some of their engagement pictures!

I was so happy that Josh and Kristy were able to work their schedules and make the trek to come hang out with the Barnard family and get their engagement session done. It was fast and furious, but here’s a quick teaser just to wet your apetite a little bit. More on the back story when I post the rest.

As always: enjoy. comment. share.

Marcene sent me an email in the middle of April asking if I could do her bridals and reception. I was pumped that everything worked out. Timing was kind of like trying to throw a football through a tire swing while driving 80 mph. There was only ONE afternoon that worked out between our schedules…and wouldn’t you know it….75% chance of thunderstorms! Being the avid Blackberry users we are, we’d been emailing back and forth all week, “Oh man, I think it’s going to pour!” “No, now it’s not” “Oh, well weather.com has it at so and so percent!” “Well arkansasonline has it at 10% less, let’s go with that one!” All the while, both of us were praying that everything would work out.

The day came, and the clouds were out a little bit. It was pretty chilly, and really windy. Out at Gillam Farms, we got to drive around, see the property, and just have fun taking pictures! I love how they turned out! Wouldn’t you know it, fifteen minutes after saying goodbye, hopping in my car, and getting on the interstate back home, the bottom fell out. TOTAL monsoon. God held the rains back JUST long enough!

She just got married this Saturday in California, and I cannot wait to see how the Little Rock reception goes next month. Marcene, thanks for letting me be a part of this process. I definitely count myself honored. Here are some of the bridal shots we got!

Luke Smith is a senior at Robinson High School, he’s also an FSM student, and, in case you were wondering, the younger brother of Emma! We’ve been trying to find a time to go do his pictures for months. Stuff kept coming up, or we’d forget (oops!) or he’d cut off all of his hair so that he could make weight at the state wrestling championship, details like that.

Anyways! He’s an awesome kid. Today, he came up to pre-register for OBU (BOOMA LACKA!) and we took the opportunity to go take some pictures FINALLY. So, without further delay, here’s a teaser from today’s senior session with Luke.

And yes. You are correct. He is playing a ukuele.

Here’s a quick teaser on one of the shoots I’m working on right now! ENJOY! *And as always, more to come!*

I can’t honestly remember the first time I met Jeff, but over time, he’s become one of the best friends I have! We’ve had several classes together, and live about 15 feet away from one another. We’re both proud members of the 4th floor, as well as TEAM FEAR! For as long as I’ve known Jeff, he’s been with Emily. Every so often, I’d tease him about when he was going to “pop the question,” but not as often as other people did! But a short while ago, I was talking with him and said, “Ok dude, are you going to let me be your photographer?” A whirlwind later and after trying to keep a secret and withhold excitement, Jeff and Emily got engaged!

Then, we got to go hang out for an afternoon and take some pictures! I could talk and talk forever, but instead, here are some pictures! Hope you enjoy!!!

Here’s a quick teaser from my engagement session with Jeff and Emily. I’ll include the story with the full post, so you’ll have to check back, but here’s a few quick shots from their session!
