Michael Woodfin and Erin Young got married in Marshall, Texas on August 7, 2010! Erin and I have had classes together at OBU and she’s good friends with my sister, Alyson.

Erin and her bridal party and house party started the day with brunch at the Roseville Bed and Breakfast, and then were off to do hair and makeup! Toby Morris did Erin’s, it was incredible! At the rehearsal the night before, the flower girl would run down the aisle to Michael, he would pick her up, and then she would dump all of her flowers. True to form, she did the same in the ceremony as well! After the ceremony, everyone headed to an art museum for one of the most stunning receptions I’ve been able to be a part of. All of the details were great, the venue was really cool, and the people were a blast! Speaking of the people, dont forget to check out the Woodfin’s memoryBOOTH pictures!

Michael, welcome to Arkadelphia, Arkansas, a thriving metropolis that is a “Great Place to Call Home.” Good luck at school, Woodfins, I can’t wait to see you around town!

Here’s a little glimpse of what’s down the pipeline.

Jeff and Emily got married on July 31, 2010 in Arkadelphia, Arkansas! Jeff has been one of my closest friends at school for some time. We’re both members of the world famous “Fourth Floor,” and have done things from hardcore study sessions to relay races to Tiger Tunes and everything in between. If you dont know Jeff or Emily, you may recognize them from their engagement session.

Jeff and Emily got married in Berry Chapel on the campus of Ouachita Baptist University and had their reception at First Baptist Church Arkadelphia, where Jeff and Emily served together while they were students at OBU. Emily’s hair stylist was none other than Arkadelphia’s own Salon 620. If you haven’t seen their memoryBOOTH pics yet, be sure to check them out here!

I believe it’s safe to say, Jeff and Emily, you are and always will be missed on the campus of OBU. Good luck as you embark off to the “real world” in Dallas, but don’t forget to visit us!

You may remember Connor and Kate from their engagement session earlier this summer! Well, they got married!

Kate and Connor got married in the Rose Garden by the Peabody Little Rock on the morning of July 24! The cool part about the ceremony was it was basically everyone that was at the rehearsal the night before. A really small, intimate ceremony composed mostly of family members and a few close friends. I thought it was an awesome setting for a wedding ceremony….and evidently so did the Arkansas Queen boat across the river. From the second that the pianist started playing until Kate and Connor were out of sight, it was playing a cartoony song, blaring it from across the river. Some couples would have been devastated, but everyone in the ceremony started to chuckle. Instead of crashing the ceremony, it brought a little laughter to everyone. It was great!

After the ceremony, Connor’s family put on a lunch for everyone at Vieux Carre in Little Rock. I was extremely pumped when I found out I was also invited! I actually finished lunch feeling a little ashamed. This place was the bee’s knees, and I’d never heard of it! There are so many places in Little Rock with GREAT food, but I just get stuck in the routine of the same places. But that’s another blog post for another day!

That evening, they had the reception in the Arkansas Ballroom of the Peabody hotel, with awesome food, a gorgeous cake, a dance floor, and some awesome light. They also had a memoryBOOTH that’s definitely worth checking out!

Connor and Kate, I wish you both the best! Your family was incredibly warm and welcoming, and if there’s ever anything I can do for you, don’t hesitate!

Also, special thanks to a company I’m extremely proud to now be working with, COLORATI! This was the first wedding I’ve used them for. They are INCREDIBLE at customer service. The definition of it! And their office manager is second to none! Thanks Leon, Katie, and everyone! Life savers!

Working hard today! Erin and Michael are getting married! I’ve got a handful of blog posts coming down the pipeline, so be ready for it. As life churns back up, we’ll see how soon they get up here, but I’m working just shy of round the clock!

Also, I’m working on a new (to stay) blog redesign! So get ready, hopefully sometime next week it’ll hit the press.

What a crazy fun day! Connor and Kate’s wedding pics will be on the blog soon enough, but I thought everyone would like to see the memoryBOOTH pics from last Saturday! The reception was in the Arkansas Ballroom of the Peabody Hotel – Little Rock. The reception was great, the food was awesome, and the people were incredible. memoryBOOTHs are always some of the highlights of receptions for me. It’s so much fun to get to interact so much with people and be high energy the whole time.

Often, the couples will come up with something pretty clever to have as unique props in their memoryBOOTHs. Sometimes this is a big hat or costume, other times I’ve had people bring a mini-chalkboard, things like that. Kate decided to do these really awesome mustaches-on-a-stick that she found online. Then, she took it a step further and made some glasses to go with them! As you can see from the pictures, they were a huge hit.

If you were a wedding guest and see your picture in these or in the slideshow, know that you can also click here and enter the password mcnabbMB and order pictures and/or digital files! If you just want it for your profile pic, check out the albums on Facebook: Part 1 and Part 2 and tag away.

I offer memoryBOOTHs as add-on’s to most wedding packages, but they’re also available by themselves. If you’re interested, shoot me an email and we’ll chat!

Here are some of the pics, but if you want to see more, be sure to click the link at the bottom!

Clever…..

He was in the middle of telling his brother, the groom, that he was fired.

Am I the only one that thinks of Arrested Development when I see this?

And as promised, here’s the link to the full slideshow!

Saturday I shot Brian and Mallory’s Jonesboro, AR wedding. I met Brian and Mallory some time ago when Mallory sent me an email asking about engagement pictures. I have no clue how it happened, but she found my site, and one thing led to another, and I got to be a part of Brian and Mallory’s day! The entire day, I was somewhat nervous that it would start to rain, but instead, the clouds provided some perfect cooling shade. It was still pretty humid, dont get me wrong, but it was much better than if it hadn’t had any clouds in the sky. Right now, they’re on their honeymoon in EUROPE! and will eventually move and start their lives together in California.

The wedding ceremony was at Mallory’s house, and the reception was at the Campbell House following. A special thanks to my second shooter, Jessica Fleeman. Feel free to go check out her blog, she should have some of her shots up fairly soon! Also, it was great to meet the videographer, Joshua Mink.

Tent provided by Fred Willis of Jonesboro (not positive on his last name).
Chairs from Party Gras of Little Rock.
Florist was Backstreet Florist/Shirley Hale of Wynne.
The reception was catered by the Nelsons with Loree Thompson as the chef!

Here’s a glimpse into Brian and Mallory’s wedding day!

Also, dont forget about the memoryBOOTH from the reception!

I thought I’d start the week off strong with a good, sweet and simple teaser from the wedding this weekend! I’ll save the couple’s write up for their post Friday! And for those of you who took advantage of the memoryBOOTH, your pics will be ready to rock on Thursday, as promised! I’ll also put a FB album up for you guys to tag away. More on that later!

Wedding season is in full swing, and I LOVE it. A special thanks and shout out to Jessica Fleeman for second shooting for me! I’ll shoot everyone a link to her and to the other vendors friday. But for now, enjoy the teaser!
